This building was down and off to the side from the main hall. As Frederick accumulated more paintings and other artwork, the main hall was not large enough to contain them all. So this new hall was built and today houses a great many paintings and is open to view by the public. I did take a look inside, and since the marble floor is original, an elevated walkway has been built for visitors to walk along and see the paintings without disturbing the floor.
