Overlooking all of Nuremberg is the amazing Imperial Castle and its grounds, which have great historic significance (being central to the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation) besides looking cool. This castle facility is divided into three main sections and the first and outermost of these was saw was the Imperial City section, so called because it belonged to and was used by the city of Nuremberg itself. The other two sections, the Kaiserburg (Emperor's Castle) and the Burggrafenveste (Governor's Castle) are reached from here with a bit of climbing.
