Right next to the town hall is a plaza that had many people sitting around enjoying the nice day. I thought it was quite nice but unusual for this kind of area to be next to the actively used city hall. Some steps lead down to the river, and towering over it all is this monolith, a memorial to the fallen of World War One. It reads
