After catching my breath from climbing over 82 meters up all the stairs to the viewing platform over the tower clock, I was able to snap some magnificent views of Hamburg. Fortunately the weather was just beautiful that day and I had a great clear view. On the very far left edge of this picture you can see the tower of the Rathaus and St. Petri Church. To the right of center is the blackened tower ruin of the St. Nikolai church, left as a memorial to the destruction of World War 2.
