On this plaque of the local fallen of World War One, you may note the name of Franz Näger on the right, as well as Franz Schwörer. Näger is my Uncle Reinhard's family name, and the Schwörer family we had the pleasure of having dinner with during our stay (since Mrs. Inge Schwörer is related to my mother's family). It is interesting to see the same family names that have been living in the town for generations. Rather different than so many families in the US, which move all over the country all the time.
