This was an interesting and unexpected event I happened to come across. As I strolled down Unter den Linden taking pictures, all of a sudden there appeared this massive rally of people on bicycles. There must have been a half a mile or more of nothing but people on bicycles passing by! I quickly realized that with the German National elections only a week or so away this must be some sort of political rally. A view further reinforced by noting that many of the cyclists (like the man waving in the foreground of this picture) were wearing T-shirts that said "Brandenburg gegen des Rechts" ("Brandenburg against the Right"). I am not exactly sure what they didn't like about the right wing parties, but it was still kind of neat to accidentally walk into a demonstration in the streets of Berlin like this. But this wasn't the only demonstration I'd find myself in the middle of that day...
